One of our all time favorite books around here is The Big Hungry Bear. If you haven’t heard of this one go find it right now. It’s about a little mouse who finds a red, ripe strawberry, and has to hide it from the big, hungry bear. I’ve been reading this book to my kids for 11 years now and I don’t get tired of this one.
This card is a tribute to that book and a chance to play along with the Global Design Project.
CARD MAKING TIPS
- It’s fun to CASE others work, pulling layout or color ideas to make your own card. Try it out at the Global Design Project, they have a new challenge each week.
- Doilies don’t have to be used whole. Try cutting them into different shapes as you layer.
- The burlap ribbon is fun to pull apart and use to make messy loops on your card.
